Before the floods- a Documentary photo shoot with the Pauwels family.
A mere weeks before the big floods that changed the Karoo, the Pauwels family invited me to join them on a small part of their South African holiday. We explored the waterfall and luckily a very quiet road in Meiringspoort, shooting moment based documentary images with one or two happy portraits in between. Right at the end of the shoot we drove to Herrie’s stone where Bart and Birte shared a very personal vow renewal with Lenn and Matts watching in interest.
